Big Foot Cribbage

we are talking about cribbage hands, but all these hands are ... 5 inches, ooops, sorry, 5 cards long ...
how about playing 7 cards hands, and name it Big Foot Cribbage instead ?
It's another version of Cross Cribb, but this time played on 7x7 board.
It's played in two rounds. In the first round, the first player has 3 chances to discard drawn card and draw another one. Players place their cards on the 7x7 grid, one collecting points horizontally, the other one vertically. Points are, of course, the sum of respected 7 cards hands.
In the second round, the second player has the chance to discard 3 cards and draw another card.
After two rounds ho has more points is the winner. Just to remind you 7x7 = 49 and puls 3 = 52 cards in the deck. Grid is below:
